About Berks Records Sources

Berks County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site for locating the official paths that explain an arrest, booking, custody status, or court case. It hosts no photo gallery or official records.

What This Reference Does

Finding a Berks booking record starts by separating the agency that made the arrest from the office that holds the next record. The Berks County Sheriff’s Central Booking Center performs county intake. The Berks County Jail System directs public custody questions to VINELink. Municipal police departments can publish their own releases or arrest posts, while Pennsylvania UJS carries the court record after a case is filed.

This site gathers those official starting points, the distinctions between them, and the written request routes that apply when a record is not online. Pennsylvania access is not a promise that every booking photo will be published. Central Booking takes CPIN photos for law-enforcement processing, but the public county pages do not provide a photo roster or a blanket public-display rule.

Records Navigation Available Here

The home page keeps the county’s related paths together instead of treating a police post, custody notification, and court outcome as the same thing.

  • Official county custody and release-notification starting points.
  • Central Booking and sheriff Right-to-Know request details.
  • Municipal publication paths for Reading, Spring Township, and Exeter Township.
  • State, court, federal, immigration, and historical-record distinctions.

Limits of This Private Site

This is not a government office and is not affiliated with the Berks County Sheriff’s Office, the Berks County Jail System, the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections, or any court. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, schedule a visit, retrieve an official record, or give legal advice. Only the responsible public office can answer a current custody or record question.

  • Agency hours, contact details, and access rules can change.
  • A published charge is an accusation, not a conviction.
  • A missing result does not establish that no arrest occurred.
  • Court disposition requires review of the responsible docket or court office.

Search Partner Disclosure

Some pages include search boxes supplied by third-party providers. Those providers set their own terms, pricing, privacy practices, and result coverage. If a partner tool leads to a paid sign-up, Berks County Busted Mugshots may receive a referral fee that helps support the site. That relationship does not change the need to verify a record with the source office, and it does not give this site control over a partner’s results.
